一. 对教材的理解

1. 教材的地位和作用

这是第八单元的第一课时,是一节听说课,主要围绕谈论生日展开话题。听说课主要是通过教师的引导而后激发学生主动表达的一种课型,本节课是这一单元的起始课,对于学生兴趣的培养以及本单元的教学起到了至关重要的作用。

2. 教学目标

 知识目标:掌握新的单词January,February,March, April,May June,July,August,September,October,November,December,first,second,third等,会正确运用When is your birthday?造相应的对话。

 能力目标:培养学生主动表达英语的能力。

 情感目标:教育学生做一个感恩父母,有爱心的人。

3. 重难点分析

重点:月份单词以及序数词的掌握,

     本节课的对话练习。

难点:个别序数词的的发音,写法以及句型的正确运用。

  教学设备:多媒体,日历表。

二. 学情分析

  学生对本节课的话题非常感兴趣,因为生日话题贴近他们的生活,所有的学生都能在课堂上积极,主动的接受知识,发言大胆,积极。

三. 教学方法

1. 多媒体教学法:通过各种运用日历月份导入新课,充分调动了学生的学习兴趣,让每一位学生首先就对这节课充满了期待。

2. 情景教学法:给学生创造了在实际生活中对家人,朋友询问生日的场景,让学生身临其境,对话自然而然生成。

3. 任务教学法:给予小组一定的任务,学生对此热情十足,调查过程气氛热烈,而后的报告也收到了不错的效果。

四. 教学过程

Step I. Lead in.

First, the teacher shows a picture to students. Then the teacher asks some questions about the picture.

T: What can you see in the picture?

S: I can see a calendar.

T: How many months in one year?

S: There are twelve months in one year.

(通过让学生观察“导入图,”首先让学生了解本节课所谈论的话题,随着问题的加深,让学生对接下来的内容充满了期待。)

Step II. Learn the new words.

The teacher uses twelve pictures to teach the new words. (January,February,March, April,May June,July,August,September,October,November,December)

 (本环节通过播放十二张月份的展示图片和两个“大脑游戏”来学习本节课的新单词,再次激发学生的兴趣,让他们在游戏中快乐地学习和巩固新单词。)

Step III. Ask and answer questions.

The teacher asks the students to say more words.

T: Do you know more words of this class?

S: Yes, I do.

T: What other words do you know?

S: first,second,third…

(教师通过询问学生预习情况“What other words do you know?”再次拓展学生的词汇量,并对序数词作一学习强化巩固。)

Step V. Make conversations.

First, the teacher shows some pictures and asks some questions.

Then the students make conversations in every group.

S1: When is your birthday?

S2: My birthday is in May.

   -It’s on May 3rd.

S1: When is your father’s birthday?

S2: His birthday is in March.

   -It’s on March 1st.

S1: When is your mother’s birthday?

S2: Her birthday is in April.

   -It’s on April 30th.

(通过实际导入生日图片选择对话的情景教学,让学生身临其境,尤如回到了自己的家中,贴近了生活,小组内对话水到渠成生成。)

Step VI. Listen to the tape.

First the students listen to the tape. Then the teacher checks the answers.

Step VII. Summary.

The teacher Summaries the words and the phrases .

 (教师不但复习和总结了本节课的内容,并做了强化巩固。)

Step VIII. Summary and homework.

1. Remember the new words

2. Make a survey about When are your family members’ birthdays.

Step IV. 情感升华

 The teacher shows a picture and asks some questions.

  T: What can you see in the picture?

  S: I can see my family members.

T: Do you know your family members’ birthdays?

S: Yes, we do…

(通过教师的问题引导,让学生感恩父母,做一个有爱心的人。)

Everyone should love each other.

To love others is to love ourselves.
